76 Golf Links Rd, Fenelon Falls, Ontario, K0M 1N0At 76 Golf Links Rd., Sturgeon Point Golf Club has been part of the Kawartha Lakes golf scene since 1899. Designed originally by C.E. “Robbie” Robinson, this semi-private 9-hole, par-36 layout offers a walkable but thoughtful round on the shores of Sturgeon Lake. The full nine plays roughly 2,880 yards from the longest tees and carries a slope around 117, making it accessible yet interesting. The flat terrain and short walk between holes make it friendly for all players, yet there’s enough variety: doglegs, bunkers, water traps and a vintage architectural rhythm that rewards placement and short-game finesse. The driving range, chipping/putting greens and fully licensed clubhouse deck overlooking the lake round out the experience. The vibe here is relaxed—families, beginners, seasoned players all feel welcome. But don’t mistake relaxed for easy. A finish with lake views and the kind of short-hole strategy that turns a birdie opportunity into a bogey if you misread wind or pin. For a build-your-game or unwind-with-friends outing, Sturgeon Point ticks a lot of boxes.
