Golfer's Dream Details
From the second tee at Golfer's Dream, the view runs over Lake Ontario all the way to the CN Tower. Then the work starts. It's a 467-yard par 4 with out of bounds right and long fescue left, and you'll need a long, accurate drive just to reach the corner.
The course is across from the Ocala Winery near Port Perry, open since August 1999, with a range, a putting green and a licensed clubhouse with a patio.
The nine holes play links style: uneven fairways, coarse rough and quick greens, with real elevation changes. The fourth rewards brains over muscle: aim your tee shot straight at the bend and you're left with a short iron, while trying to carry the trees and mounds rarely pays off.
