Rockway ends on a par 3, and the whole tee shot has to carry a huge pond. Forward tees or back, it asks a lot. The green is big, so pick the middle and take your par. Patio 19 looks right over that finishing hole and the Wine Garden.
Grapes are the other half of this place. Peter Warkentin, a farmer, dreamed up the course, and it opened in 1991. In 2001, he and Andre Pelletier, the superintendent, made their first wine together. The clubhouse has a wine boutique, fittingly.
The vines come into play, too. Pull or hook your drive on No. 4 and it can finish in one of the vineyards, and on No. 5 anything down the left ends up in the pear trees.
