Pineland Greens Golf Club Details
Don Clark ran a gravel pit and a Christmas tree farm before he turned 50 acres on Safari Road into a nine hole golf course. He and his wife, Elva, built it up together. Their son Ted and his wife, Marilyn, took over when they retired, and now Don's grandson, Jeff Clark, leads it.
Don's original design has changed a lot over the years. It's still an easy walk, though, over gently sloping ground with old trees, tidy gardens and ponds along the way.
The Clarks want families out here. Monday is Family Night, with quieter twilight tee times so kids 14 and under can learn the game next to a parent. Two ladies leagues play during the week, on Wednesday mornings and Thursday evenings.
